Organic Fair Trade Jasmine Green Tea BAGS
DESCRIPTION:
Organic Jasmine Green Tea Bags are fair trade. Its smell reminds us of spring, and its flavor is smooth but earthy. This tea does not contain the whole jasmine flower. Using an 800 year old artisanal East Asia method called “scenting” the farmers dry the tea near the flower to absorb its essence and take on jasmine’s flavor and smell. Xuan En Yisheng Tea Cooperative grow this tea in the Hubei Province of China with special considerations for high quality and flavor. The workers who cultivate this tea are proud of the product they produce through fair trade methods. We have found adding a little sweetener, milk, or milk alternative transforms it and can make a fan out of even people who do not usually like floral or green teas. We love it hot, but cold brewing it also produces a delightful palate. Either way and any time of year, we think Organic Fair Trade Jasmine Green Tea bags are the perfect afternoon “pick-me-up” leaving us feeling happy and chatty but not overly caffeinated.
